United Concordia Coverage Availability & Fees
United Concordia is a group coverage plan, which means that you must get it through your employer. When you signed up for your benefits, your company’s HR representative should have helped you examine your plan options and choose one that best fits your circumstances and needs. You probably signed up for a PPO plan, which offers flexible coverage that lets you visit any licensed dentist and still use your benefits. However, if you visit an in-network dentist, you can enjoy even greater savings and more predictable pricing. You will need to check the exact details of your plan to learn about your coverage. In general, however, PPO insurance policies tend to work something like this:
- Preventive care: 100% covered
- Minor restorative care: 70 – 80% covered
- Major treatments: 50% covered

For example, we will take both waiting periods and deductibles into account. We might also be able to schedule major treatments in a way that helps you get the most out of your annual maximum, which is the most that United Concordia will pay out for services within a calendar year. In some cases, it is possible to schedule procedures across multiple appointments — and between calendar years — so patients can use two annual maximums rather than just one.
