Welcome to the practice of Dr. D Michael Miller! He and the rest of our team are always happy to accept patients of all ages from San Antonio and the surrounding area, so we cannot wait to meet you and your family! If you are thinking about coming to see us for the first time (or if you have already scheduled an appointment), please read through the helpful information below so you can know exactly what to expect during your appointment. If you have any questions, give us a call!
After being greeted by our friendly front desk team, you will be escorted to your treatment room where you will meet your dentist. He will spend a few moments getting to know you, and then he will take some X-rays and perform an oral exam. When the exam is complete, you will move to a hygiene room for a periodontal (gum) assessment and a refreshing cleaning. You will then have a chance to ask as many questions as you like before you are walked back to the front desk.
We are always looking for new ways to help our patients save time, so now you have the option of filling out our patient forms before you are in our office. Simply click on the link below to download the forms and fill them out in the comfort of your own home. When the day of your appointment arrives, be sure to bring them with you so we can get you in to see your dentist right away! Please let us know if you have any issues accessing our forms.
Our office understands the value of insurance benefits to our patients, and we gladly accept assignment of insurance benefits as a service to you. Your insurance policy is a contract between you and your insurance company. We are not a party in that contract. We will do our best to estimate your deductible and the portion that will be covered by your insurance carrier to maximize your benefits. However, any balance remaining is your direct responsibility. This includes any non-covered services, yearly deductibles, or co-payments particular to your individual insurance plan. Since it is impossible for us to be familiar with the details of every insurance plan, we ask that you be aware of your financial responsibilities under the terms of your policy. We want you to be comfortable in dealing with insurance matters and we urge you to consult us if you have any questions.
